ACTLAA Carnivals
The ACT Little Athletics Association (ACTLAA), together with some local Little Athletics clubs, run a number of competition meets each season. ACTLAA events are open for age groups under 9 and over. Other carnivals are open to athletes of all ages.
Your Corroboree registration fee covers the costs of ACTLAA carnivals. A small registration fee may be required to participate in carnivals offered by other Little Athletics clubs.

Upcoming carnivals
Northside Regional Championships: U8-U17 athletes
The Northside Regionals will be held on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th March at Charnwood Oval, Lhotsky Street, Charnwood. Entry is open to all LAACT-registered U8 to U17 athletes. Entry forms need to be submitted by Sunday 12 February. U9 to U17 athletes must compete in the regional championships to qualify for the LAACT state championships. More information is available in the flyer and the program of events.
The Committee will endeavour to provide further information about other upcoming carnivals closer to their running.
Highlights from Season 2011-12 carnivals
Great results at the Multi-Event Carnival
25 Corroboree athletes competed in the ACTLAA Multi-Event Carnival held at the AIS on Sunday 13 November. There were a number of first placings and many personal bests achieved on the day. Congratulations to the following athletes achieving a top 3 performance overall: Amelia (U8G) 3rd, Elijah (U11B) 2nd, Shannon (U13G) 1st and Claire (U13G) 2nd. Thanks to all the parents for their willingness to help out officiating, especially those who backed up for seconds and thirds. A big thank you to Ruud, Ingrid and Nerys for getting everyone to their right events on time and to Bernard and John who managed officials duties for the full day. Corroboree athletes shine at Ginninderra Carnival
Nine Corroboree athletes participated in the Ginninderra Carnival on 30 October. They were: Misha (u7); Amelia (u8); Lizanne (u10); Simon (u11); Trent (u11); Stirling (u12); Dylan (u13); Claire (u13) and Keeley (u14). They all posted excellent performances with most finishing top three in their age groups.
